In 2020, a local orchestra was looking for a web design to revamp its existing website. I was intrigued, and I loved working with such creative and talented people.
Who is Strathcona Symphony Orchestra?
The Strathcona Symphony Orchestra is a regional orchestra that draws musicians of all ages and abilities from the Comox Valley and Campbell River.
Their goal is to spread the joy of music with their members and the community. They do this through building musical growth among their members, accepting all skill levels, and holding numerous accessible community concerts throughout the year.
The Website Redesign
When this project started they had not re-vamped their website is many years, and only worked to maintain it’s information, ensuring that is was always kept up to date. But now it was time for a change…
I thoroughly enjoyed designing this website to help bring their organization into a new era. The first step was to fill their new website with updated photos of all of their recent concerts. I also wanted to give this website a bold new look that communicated how much passion this orchestra holds for sharing and creating music.
